古定威，复旦大学管理学院副教授。研究方向包括纵向相关市场、平台经济、反垄断、公司治理等。主要研究成果发表于国际顶级的经济学、金融学期刊，包括RAND Journal of Economics，Journal of Industrial Economics，Journal of Corporate Finance等。主持的研究项目包括国家自然科学基金项目、The British Academy Newton Fund。 

报告摘要：

This paper investigates the incentive by a dominant platform to adopt proportional fee in platform competition and its consequences. Compared with unit fee, proportional fee benefits consumers and society but hurts merchants, and will be the dominant platform's optimal choice if the platform's advantage is sufficiently large. Under proportional fee but not unit fee, merchants are worse off if their platform service becomes more valuable, and a merchant has a stronger incentive to join the platform if more merchants are choosing it. Our theory offers a rationale for high commission rates on the dominant platforms despite intense platform competition.
